Let me try to make a long story short :)

 

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to live abroad. So when I was old enough, I went to live abroad for the first time. It was only temporary though, and I always came back to Sweden.

 

July 2015 I went on a business trip to Lisbon in Portugal. This was my very first time in Lisbon and I loved it! I could totally see us living there and I remember mentioning it as a joke to my boyfriend at the time (but was it really a joke hehe?). A job opporunity opened up at the international company I was working for, and who would I be to say no? They offered me the position in Lisbon and we thought - it's now or never. 

 

January 31st 2016, we boarded our plane with a one way ticket to what we now call home.

 

Do we have any plans on moving back to Sweden? The short answer is: no. We just bought our very first own property, and we are expecting a baby in a month. Lisbon is home, and we are here without an exit date.
